MAIN OBJECTIVES OF METROSTAV a.s. STRATEGY

The key strategic objective of Metrostav a.s. is to continue intensifying effective utilisation of all available resources for securing the position of a thriving top European construction firm with a steadily growing market value.

The company will further continue to function in all the fields of building industry in the Czech republic, with a center in Prague. In the unique segment of underground constructions it will dominate on the home market and subsequently succesfully enter into the foreign market. Moreover, all the factors necessary for a progressive growth of Metrostav a.s.'s position in the transport-engineering segment will be strongly supported. In addition, the achievements in the field of industry constructions and historical structures' reconstructions open the door to taking the lead in quality in these segments as well. Furthemore, the developer activities in the fields of housing construction will be amplified. The company will engage itself in significant building projects with a non-standard way of financing. It will also create convenient conditions for it's activities in the area of facility managment.

Metrostav's main weapons in competition for new projects will include a reasonable pricing policy and a can-do approach to customers' requirements, based on fully guaranteed quality, guaranteed completion dates for structural works and other extra methods supported by the Company's high technical and technological standards, corporate culture and sustainable financial stability.

Demanding intentions of the Company are supported through the establishment of DDM Group, a syndicate associating following companies: DOAS a. s. Bratislava, Doprastav a. s. Bratislava, Metrostav a. s. Praha, and their subsidiaries. The implementation of the mutually agreed program of cooperation of above-mentioned partners opens up the space for multiplication synergic effects, which shall accelerate the dynamic growth of above-mentioned companies. The key position of Metrostav a.s. on the construction market in the Czech Republic will be strenghtened by the acquisition of Subterra a.s. and Metrostav SK a.s. Bratislava, companies which have been Metrostav's subsidiaries since 2004.
