VIVUS Uhříněves residential complex – stage 3

Stage three of the construction of the VIVUS apartments in Uhříněves included the building of four buildings, specifically, buildings D, E, F, and G. Five, respectively six floors of buildings D, F, and G house apartment units, while their single underground floors serve as mass garages. Building E has no basement. Apart from apartments on five of its floors and on the ground floor, it also houses small commercial areas and a common boiler room. The loadbearing parts of all of these buildings are made of a reinforced concrete wall system, which is linked to an underground water-impermeable reservoir. The functionalist to purist shape of the buildings forms a pleasant architectural contract with the colorfulness and structure of the parterre facade.

All of the apartment units built as a part of stage three of the VIVUS building project have been equipped with Meibes stations, which allow for an economical, flow-through heating of the heating and service water via an exchanger in each apartment. The apartments, facades of which are exposed to the noise from the adjoining busy street, have been furnished with recuperation ventilation units, thanks to which ventilation does not have to be done through windows. The project also included a playground for kids, pétanque field and an extension of an existing bike path.
