In the Construction Project category, the award went to the Braník Bridge - Prague-Krč - Spořilov double-tracking project, which was implemented by a contractors’ association led by Metrostav TBR a.s. The project manager was Tomáš Kohout. The project has significantly contributed to the improvement of rail transport in the Prague conurbation.
Many thanks to all those who contributed their time and energy to these projects. We would also like to thank the organisation Správa železnic, which was the investor for these constructions projects and the guarantor of the whole competition. We highly appreciate the awards and see them as a confirmation of the quality of our work and our contribution to the railway infrastructure in the Czech Republic.
The awards ceremony took place at the end of January in the prestigious premises of the Fanta Hall in the Fanta Building at Prague’s main station. The event was not only a celebration of the success of the award-winning construction projects, but also a meeting of experts and professionals in railway construction.
